Recognize and STOP Abuse

This training is ½ day classroom training (3.5 hours).

Physical, emotional, psychological, verbal, and sexual abuse are all too common forms of abuse experienced by children, youth and adults with special needs. This ½ day training is in compliance with the Quality Assurance Measures established in 2011.

The purpose of this training is to provide staff with the skills;

To recognize indicators of abuse
To be aware of causal factors that lead to abuse
To understand what can be done to prevent and STOP abuse from occurring
