Denis Beenen, B.Ed.

Denis has been working with Safe Management as an Instructor & Consultant since 2013. He has also worked closely with the Safe Management Group’s Treatment Homes, overseeing the safety of the treatment programs and the development of the assessment team. These roles have provided Denis with considerable experience working with children and adults with challenging needs. Denis has his Bachelor’s degrees in Education, and PEH/Kinesiology from the University of Toronto. He has spent over a decade as a martial arts and self-defense instructor teaching movement, awareness, and techniques for personal safety and protection. He enjoys bringing these different experiences into each setting to best support the staff and individuals we get to train, support and work with.
